Tacalyx secures €11 million to advance lead TACA-targeting ADC programme toward the clinic
€11 million from the existing syndicate in a first closing of the seed extension. TCX-201 is selected as first clinical candidate, with a CTA filing planned for 2027.
Tacalyx has secured €11 million in a first closing of its seed extension round from its existing international investor syndicate, including Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund (BIVF), Kurma Partners, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Eurazeo, Creathor Ventures and Thuja Capital. The company intends to add further investors in a subsequent closing.
At the same time Tacalyx has selected TCX-201 as its first clinical candidate. TCX-201 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) against an undisclosed TACA, developed on Tacalyx's platform for gastrointestinal malignancies and other solid tumors. The proceeds will take TCX-201 through preclinical development toward a clinical trial application (CTA), planned for 2027, and advance the earlier pipeline. The next clinical candidate is to be selected by the end of 2026.
